Account Alerts

Alert windows are used to display system alerts and announcements. They are integrated with various account functions including billing systems, import and export wizards and Caspio administrators. An alert would be sent to notify you about the completion of data import, maintenance to be performed, expiration of a billing credit card, etc.

To open the Alerts window, select Alerts from the View menu. You may also select the New Alerts button located in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

The new alerts button displays how many new alerts you have.

So, no-alert.gif means there are no new alerts and new-alerts.gif means there are two new, unread alerts.

Active alerts

The alerts tab is always visible in the upper right-hand corner of the Caspio Bridge window. The number of new alerts will be visible on this tab.

In the alerts window, the title of the message is bolded to represent an unread status.

Refresh alerts list – To refresh the alerts list and receive any new alerts, click the Refresh refresh.gif button.

Show alert's details – To view the details of an alert, click the Show show.gif button located next to the alert. After you select the Show button, the alert loses unread status and is no longer considered new.

Note that some alerts may have no details and all of the information is displayed in the message title. These messages will not have a Show button.

Dismiss the alert – Click the Dismiss dismiss.gif button next to the desired alert to dismiss it. Dismissed alerts are moved to the Past Alerts tab and will lose unread status.

Every alert has an individual expiration date. When the alert has expired it is moved to the Past Alerts tab.

Past alerts

To view past alerts, click on the History tab in the Alerts window.

You may filter alerts by date and by user.

  1. To filter by date, select All or insert the desired date range. Use the calendar overlay for one-click date selection.
  2. To filter by user, select All (to display alerts for all users), Admin (to display alerts sent only to the Administrator), or the desired user name (to filter by individual user messages).
Lists with multiple users are available only to Caspio Bridge accounts which allow for more than one user. Your Caspio Bridge subscription package determines the number of administrative logins available for your account
  1. Click the Update button to see the filtered results.
Note that the alert history is periodically cleansed for performance, at which time alerts in the history tab will be deleted.
