DataPage Folders

The main use of folders in Caspio Bridge is to separate groups of DataPages for Web User Authentication (password protection).  You can create folders to organize and group your DataPages.  However, you cannot create folders inside of other folders.

It is recommended that you group your DataPages by user type, for example: Administration DataPages, Employee DataPages, and Public Facing DataPages.  This way you can password protect DataPages easily, if needed.  There is no limit to the number of folders you can make, or the number of DataPages that can be included in each folder.

Steps to creating a DataPage folder:

1. Go to the DataPages view

In the Caspio Bridge Explorer window, click on the DataPages button.

2. Click on the New Folder button New Folder Button

The New Folder button is the button on the far right of the Caspio Bridge Explorer window toolbar.  If you are currently inside of another folder, this button will not be visible.  Click the New Folder button.  Choose a folder name.  Folder names can have spaces and special characters.  After you’ve finished, press Finish to create the new folder.

Your browser may or may not support “Click and Drag” in Caspio Bridge.  You can also move a DataPage by selecting it and pressing the Move button to move it into your new folder.
