Limiting Records per Page and Total Records Returned

 

You can set both the total number of results returned and the results per page in the Search Results Options screen of the DataPage wizard.  These instructions show you how to edit a previously created Search and Report DataPage.

Steps to limit the number of records per page:

1. Go to the Search Results Options screen

In the Caspio Bridge Explorer window go to the DataPages view.  Click on the Search and Report you would like to change and click the Edit button.  Using the double arrow button proceed to the Search Results Options screen.

2. Set the number of records per page

In the display options section under the sort order dropdown fields there is a field called Records per page.  By default this field is set to 25.  Change the number to the desired number of results or select the other radio button to return all results on the first page.

Steps to limit the total number of records returned:

1. Enable Advanced Options

In the Caspio Bridge Explorer window go to the DataPages view.  Click on the Search and Report you would like to change and click the Edit button.  Enable advanced options by clicking the Enable Advanced Options checkbox.

2. Proceed to the Search Results Options screen

Using the double arrow button proceed to the Search Results Options screen.  Because advance options have been enabled, the Advanced tab will now be visible.  Click on the Advanced tab.

3. Change the total number of records returned

The first field in the advanced tab, in the Record Options section, allows you to limit the total number of records returned.  In this section you can also hide the record count.  Change the number of records returned as desired.  Press Finish to save your DataPage.
