HTML Blocks

 

HTML blocks are useful when you wish to add descriptive text, links or graphics to your DataPages. HTML blocks can contain any valid HTML including image tags that use external images.

HTML blocks can be used in Forms, Reports, and Log-in forms configured with custom authentication.

Inserting an HTML BlockThe Insert Button

To insert an HTML block, click the Insert button at the lower right corner of the DataPage Elements panel.  Select HTML Block. The HTML block appears in the list of DataPage elements. Click on the HTML block and insert your HTML code into the panel on the right.

Advanced Options

If you have enabled advanced options and parameters, you can use the HTML Block’s Insert button to insert parameters from the current base table or view.
