Can I use Caspio SSL without a website SSL?

Question:

We do not have an SSL certificate for our website at the moment. Can I have secure SSL transmission for my Caspio deployment?

 

Answer:

Website SSL is not required. If you enable SSL while deploying a DataPage you will notice the deploy code uses "https" rather than "http" which means the connection to Caspio for your app data is going to be secure.

However, some browsers may display a message to your users that the content of the page is mixed SSL and non-SSL.
