Importing Views

Previously exported views can be imported into any Caspio Bridge account as long as the referenced tables exist and are formatted correctly.  If you are trying to import a view that joins more than one table, be sure that these referenced tables are imported into your account first.

To import View definitions:

1.  Open the Import View wizardImport View Button

In the Views section click the Import button in the toolbar of the main Caspio Bridge window.  This launches View Import wizard.  If you try to import a view using the incorrect wizard you will receive the following error.

Upload Failed - Incorrect File Type

2.  Select the file you wish to import

Click the Browse button to find and select the desired file on your local computer.  Click Next.

Browse for the View File

3.  Choose which views you will be importing

The next screen displays the list of views that Caspio Bridge has detected in your file.  A warning icon will be displayed if there is a potential barrier to the import process.  Caspio Bridge cannot import a view if the base tables are not present or have been critically modified since the view was exported.

Importing a View: Normal vs. Import Error
