Resizing DataParts
2 minutes to readAfter positioning a DataPart in the place where you want to display its data, you can change the element size to optimize the AppPage layout.
- On the canvas, select the DataPart you want to resize.
- Modify the size of the DataPart:
- To adjust the DataPart dimensions directly on the canvas, use the drag-and-drop sizing handles .
A hint displays the DataPart size while you drag the sizing handles. - To set the DataPart height, in the Size section of the right panel, in the Height field, select one of the options:
- To automatically adjust the DataPart height to always display all the content, select Auto.
- To set a specific DataPart height, select Fixed and enter the number of pixels that you want to use.
The default width is 6 columns for forms and charts and 12 columns for other DataParts.
If you edit the DataPart size on the canvas, the height setting changes to Fixed, with the value that reflects the manual adjustments. - To adjust the DataPart dimensions directly on the canvas, use the drag-and-drop sizing handles .
Result: The size is aligned to the grid columns. If the new size is bigger than the available space on the AppPage, the element does not change and displays in the original size.
