Strange characters may appear in your deployed DataPages when the data in your database include non-English characters and the encoding of your page is not set to UTF-8.
Caspio supports all non-English characters including double-byte characters and its encoding utilizes UTF-8. Therefore, to properly display these characters in your deployed applications, you must instruct the browser to use the UTF-8 Unicode standard.
You can do this by adding the following code to the header of the web page where the DataPage is deployed. The header of your web page is the area betweenand:
