Introducing Caspio Extensions

Caspio Extensions is a new plug-and-play capability that connects your Caspio account to third-party services, enabling various functionalities. We are very excited about the roadmap of Extensions and in future releases, we will open it up for our partners and even customers to create their own extensions.

AI-Powered GPT Connect is our first extension, fully developed by Caspio and is now available for use.

With this extension, you can create dynamic prompts using fields from your tables, which are then sent to an OpenAI Large Language Model to receive a response that you can store in a designated field. This process can be triggered whenever data is changed.

There are many use cases for this, but here are a few ideas for what you can do: 

  • Easily analyze legal contracts to catalog specific agreed-upon obligations 
  • Analyze resumes for specific job descriptions 
  • Summarize or translate documents or large texts 
  • Create personalized content such as emails 
  • Research data related to a given record 
  • Sentiment analysis 
  • Describe images and process them for optical character recognition (OCR) 
  • And much more. 

To be more specific, here are a few ideas you can put to use today: 

  • Define a prompt for AI to automatically analyze image uploads and generate textual descriptions for each image 
  • Create a personalized email for a CRM based on the data about a contact, their interests, role in a company, and the company financials. 
  • Augment your data by looking up and storing executives or latest financials of companies in your CRM.

Caspio Integrations

For easier access to all integration capabilities, we created a new “Integrations” area, consolidating APIs, webhooks, and extensions. Additionally, all of Caspio’s integration features are conveniently packaged into one powerful offering.

Furthermore, API calls, webhook calls, and extensions calls are now under a single pool of resources allocated as “Integrations calls”.

Consolidated Credits for SMS, AI Assistant, and Extensions

To reduce resource categories in your account and simplify billing, we consolidated SMS credits and AI Assistant credits into a single “credits” resource. Additionally, premium extensions now also utilize these credits for their usage.

New in Caspio Directories: French, German, and Dutch localization

Caspio Directories provides turnkey identity and access management for users of your Caspio apps and any SAML-compatible service. 

In addition to English and Spanish, now French, German, and Dutch localizations are also available in Directories to localize the user portal and email templates.

Known Issue: Google Drive Authentication Impact on Caspio Data Import/Export

Due to recent changes in Google Drive’s authentication process, users may experience issues when creating or editing Google Drive sites for data import/export tasks in the Caspio platform. We are actively working with Google to resolve this matter and will provide updates as soon as they become available.

Please note that existing Google Drive connections are not affected and will continue to function as expected.
