Deprecation of Caspio 1.3.0 App Connection in Zapier
Jan 29, 2026 • 2 minutes to readWith the release of a new version of Caspio app connection in Zapier, Caspio will deprecate the support for the previous version of the app connection, visible in Zapier as Caspio 1.3.0, on June 1, 2026.
Customers who added a Caspio app connection in Zapier after January 9, 2026, are using the latest integration and are not impacted by this deprecation.
If you added a Caspio app connection in Zapier before January 9, 2026, and your app connection displays as Caspio 1.3.0, you are using the legacy integration. To keep your Zaps functional, perform the following actions before the deprecation date:
- Add a new app connection to Caspio using a new Web services profile.
- Open your Zap that uses the legacy app connection. For all Caspio 1.3.0 triggers and actions, perform the following steps:
- Select a trigger or action.
- In the right panel, click the Configure step and check the configuration of the trigger or action. You will need to recreate it.
- Click the Setup step and change the App setting to Caspio.

- Change the Trigger/Action event to a corresponding option that does not show the “Legacy” tag.
- Change the Account setting to use the Caspio account with the latest version that you created in step 1.
- Click the Configure step and recreate the previous configuration.
- Repeat the previous step for all your Zaps that use the legacy Caspio app connection.
- Delete the Caspio 1.3.0 app connection from Zapier.
- In Caspio, delete the Web services profile that was used for Caspio 1.3.0 app connection.
The latest integration uses REST API version 3, which offers enhancements and updated operation types. Previous versions of REST API will be deprecated.
