Deprecation of Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy Browsers

In order to maintain the latest browser security standards, Caspio will be ending support of Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy browsers.

Following Microsoft’s announcement to stop supporting these browsers in the coming months, Caspio is implementing a similar deprecation timeline.

1. Caspio Administrative Interface:

   Beginning on April 20, 2021, the Caspio administrative interface no longer supports Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy browsers. After this date, users are not able to sign into the Caspio administrative interface using these browsers.

2. Deployed Caspio Applications:

   Beginning on August 16, 2021, deployed Caspio applications no longer supports Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge Legacy browsers. After this date, deployed DataPages viewed in these browsers display the following message above the DataPage: “Your browser is not fully supported. Please use a recent version of a mainstream browser.”

It is important for IE 11 and Edge Legacy users to upgrade to the latest version of supported browsers, as older versions do not utilize the latest security standards and are no longer tested or supported by Caspio. As a result, any users accessing deployed applications with unsupported browsers may experience unexpected results.
