SMS as 2FA in Directories
Directories help you manage user authentication, access, and account security for your applications.
Caspio Directories now support SMS-based two-factor authentication (2FA) alongside authenticator apps, giving you more flexibility to balance security and user experience. You can enable SMS, authenticator apps, or both when configuring 2FA for a Directory. During login, app users verify their identity using the selected method.

Enhancements to Flex Rules and Lookups
Flex is our next-generation framework for building modern cloud applications.
- Rules now support list data types and relative date references in conditions, making it easier to build flexible, dynamic logic. You can evaluate multi-value list fields and use relative date values like “today,” “last 7 days,” or “next month” with simple, human-readable syntax.
- DataPart lookup filtering by app role now includes users assigned through dynamic groups, ensuring more complete and accurate results. Previously, only users with direct or static group role assignments appeared in lookup dropdowns.

Data Migration Support in Vault Packages
Vault helps you package, review, and transfer Flex applications between accounts.
- When creating an app package in Vault, you can now include users and data, making it easier to create complete, self-contained packages for backups or account transfers. This feature is currently available for non-HIPAA accounts, with HIPAA support coming in a future release.
- The package Properties panel now shows detailed object counts across the Packages, Sent, and Received lists and displays the sender’s account ID, giving you a clearer view of package contents and origin before installation.

Enhancements to Data Import/Export Tasks
Data Import/Export Tasks help you synchronize data between Caspio and external storage services.
You can now specify the AWS Region when configuring an Amazon S3 Site for Data Import/Export Tasks, improving control and connection reliability. Previously, automatic region detection could be affected in some environments by IAM policies restricting the detection process.

E-Signature Extensions in Marketplace

Auto-fill agreements directly from your Caspio records, collect legally binding signatures, and track the status of every document without leaving your app. Eliminate manual document preparation and close agreements faster.
Dropbox Sign Extension: Connect Caspio to Dropbox Sign to automatically send signature requests using your data. Populate templates with records from your data source and manage the full signing workflow without leaving your app.
Impacted Areas
The following areas were impacted by release 71.0:
- As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility compliance, we introduced enhancements to the DOM structure for Bridge and Flex Tabular Reports.
- REST API v3 request tracing has been updated. The X-Caspio-Request-ID and RequestID values are now returned as lowercase GUIDs and align with X-Correlation-ID.
