Introducing the Calendar DataPart for Flex
The new Calendar DataPart displays records from a table or view as events on an interactive calendar, making it easy to build scheduling, booking, shift planning, and event-tracking apps without custom code.
- Plan the way you work – App users can switch between Day, Week, Month, Year, and Schedule views. You can choose which views are available in your app.
- Manage events directly on the calendar – App users can create events, open events to view details, and drag or resize events to change their time and duration, based on their Role permissions.
- Recognize events at a glance – Apply color coding based on a field, such as category or status, to make events easy to identify without opening them

Enhancements to Flex DataParts
- Dropdown menu buttons – Group several actions under one dropdown menu button to keep DataPart controls compact and set the order of the actions in the interactive controls. On existing User Details/Update Forms, the predefined user actions now appear automatically in an Actions dropdown menu button. All of them stay visible and are disabled when they do not apply to the user’s status, instead of being hidden.
- Download reports from a Tabular report – App users can export report results to an Excel file. You decide which records are included, name the file with dynamic values such as the creation timestamp, and optionally compress it.
- Searchable dropdown fields – App users can type into a dropdown field in a form to narrow a long list of options to the ones that match, so they find the right value faster. It is on by default, and you can turn it off per field.
Introducing data import in Bridge Submission Forms
Data import, available in Flex since release 75.0, now comes to Bridge. A File field on a Submission Form DataPage can run a data import task when an app user uploads a file, so app users can load records through a standard form without access to the Caspio platform.

Enhancements to Caspi
Caspi, your AI app builder, understands more of what you ask for.
- Conditional logic – Describe behavior in plain language, such as “hide the Address field when the checkbox is selected,” and Caspi creates or edits the rule for you.
- Text/HTML DataParts – Ask Caspi to write or update the content of a Text/HTML DataPart, such as an app introduction or a landing page for your business.
- Realistic sample data – Sample records now use existing IDs from parent tables, so new orders, for example, belong to customers that already exist.
- Email form element – Caspi applies the Email form element to fields it recognizes as email inputs.

Enhancements to Tasks
A new Notifications tab in Tasks lets you choose to be notified when a run succeeds or fails and who receives each notification. The right people know right away when a scheduled task finishes or needs attention, without checking the logs, and failure notifications include the error so you can start fixing the problem immediately.

Enhancements to REST API v4
- Tasks operations – You can now list your tasks, read their details, run a task on demand, and review its run history and the details of each run. An integration can start a task and confirm what it did. The Tasks list also has a new Task ID column, which identifies the task in API calls.
- Manage sign-in methods for directory users – You can list a directory’s identity providers and move users between an identity provider and native Caspio login, one at a time or up to 1000 per request. This makes it practical to roll out or change single sign-on for many users from a script.
- Better guidance for AI tools – The REST API v4 AI manifest is updated and extended, so AI tools and developers can better understand how to use the API.
- API profile activity – The API profiles list now shows how many calls and errors each profile’s credentials made in the period you select, so you can see which integrations are active and which are failing.
