2 minutes to readAn organization lets you manage user access to your Caspio accounts through single sign-on (SSO). You bring accounts under one organization, add people as organization members, and restrict those accounts so that only members can be granted access to them
An organization manages membership, not account permissions. Being a member makes someone eligible for access. Granting that access is done separately in each account.
How an organization works
An organization ties access to an email domain you control. Everything else follows from that.
- You claim a domain. During setup you select an account with a verified domain that matches your Caspio ID. That domain becomes your organization’s identity boundary.
- The domain decides who can join. Only people whose Caspio ID uses that domain can become members, which keeps membership limited to your own company’s users.
- Accounts you add become member-only. When an account joins the organization, access to it can no longer be granted to anyone outside your membership. Users who do not qualify are removed as the account joins.
- Members sign in with your company credentials. Instead of managing Caspio sign-in separately, members authenticate through your identity provider using SSO.
- Each account still controls what a member can do. The organization decides who is eligible. Permissions inside an account stay with that account.
The result is one place to control who can reach your Caspio accounts, and one set of company credentials for the people who can.
