Creating Templates
1 minute to readA template is a document created from a fillable PDF file that can be mapped with values from a table or view.
Note: Creating new templates is available to Caspio users with administrator permissions. However, any user with DataPage editing permissions can add a template to a DataPage.
Steps to create a template:
- Select Document templates from the sidebar navigation menu.
- Click the Create document template button to start uploading your fillable PDF file. The PDF must meet the following requirements:
- Contains at least one fillable field.
- Does not exceed 200 MB in size
- Not password protected.
- Once the file is successfully uploaded, you can start mapping fields for the uploaded PDF file or return to the list of templates.
